I have finally found the one part of Texoma I am going to miss when I leave. Travis Street Grille is a wonderful place for a great meal. Set in Sherman's historic downtown district, directly across from the courthouse, in a building full of personality, this small store is known for it's friendly people and absolutely wonderful food.

Everytime I have gone into this place, I have gotten the bacon cheeseburger and fries. This place doesn't skimp on food. From ½ lb patties to generous toppings. The burgers are extremely juicy and full of flavor. It could leave you wanting more, but it is almost guaranteed to fill you up, and for a very reasonable price.

I am not a fan of fried pickles, but my wife loves them. She allowed me to try hers and for a guy who doesn't like pickles, I have to say that I did like these. The order amounts are also mind-blowing. There are times I have been able to split one order of fries and rings between four people and everyone got full.

I have heard many people rave over the Philly Cheesesteak, and I am hoping to go back and try this someday, but I keep getting lost in the burgers everytime I walk through the door.

If there was one thing I could take with me when I leave this area, it would be the Travis Street Grille and the wonderful people who run it. Since I can't, all I can do is give my highest recommendations for this place as a great place to dine.
