The poster's for this movie have taken several directions:
First teaser poster:
Then came:
And the newest vision:
For those keeping up, a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that all scenes on the bridge had been filmed. The bridge set is now torn down and put into storage, in case there is a sequel.
Anton Yelchin said in an interview that his scenes were completely done. All of his scenes are on the bridge. But one of the most useful lines he said in the interview was that it was hard to stare at a green screen and pretend you are looking at a Klingon. So, I guess that confirms that the Klingons will be returning for this movie.
Another update, the release date has been moved from December 25, 2008 to May 2009. There have been many reasons given for the move. First of all, the competition in December 2008 is too much. Going to May 2009 only puts it up against two big movies at this time.
Another reason for the move is that they want to film additional scenes. In an interview with Eric Bana, he voiced concern over his role in the movie stating that it came out as a cameo rather than an actual supporting role. There is belief that his scenes will now be expanded.
That's all for now. Hopefully, Tuesday I will be able to get some of the paparazzi photos of the set on this blog. Keep watching.
